After two days fully dedicated to training, the Beto Carrero International Kart Racing Track, in Penha - SC, received today (the 13th), the third day of activities, the timings and the first qualifying races.

Luca Fondini Waltrick, 8 years old, a second-year elementary school student, passionate about speed since he was 6, is an outstanding driver. Two years ago, he expressed interest in karting, influenced by his grandfather on his mother’s side who always liked racing, competing in karting and speed on the ground. It was his 'Nonno' Sandro Fondin who took Luca to try out karting and introduced him to the current driver's coach, Pedro Jacobsen, 34, a 'beast' on the subject.

The first stage of the 2017 Brusque Kart Cup brought together a large number of drivers. That weekend marked the second stage, which again did not disappoint. Practically maintaining the number of previous contest registrants, 66 competitors ran in nine categories at the Municipal Kart Race Track.
